Skyler Farley

My name is Skyler Farley. I am 36 years old and have been growing cannabis now for nearly half of my life. I was Born in Salt Lake City, Utah and raised in Upstate New York in a small farm town. I attended the University of Utah before I found an opportunity around 2010 to move to Humboldt County California and do a large outdoor grow and a small 4 bedroom indoor grow. From there I moved to Redding California where I increased my indoor grow area by double and still had an amazing field of outdoor cannabis. This is also where I met Donna, and we spent 6 years in Redding being full time in the Cannabis industry. During this time I was a partner in one of the largest hydroponic stores in the tri-county area. At our store we offered a variety of soils, amendments, nutrients , irrigation supplies and much more pertaining to both cannabis growing and all other plants, flowers and trees as well. After our stint in California we moved to Charleston, SC and I tried my hand at several new trades and began working full time in carpentry. South Carolina also provided me the opportunity to formulate relationships with people that eventually brought me to the new and booming cannabis industry of Oklahoma. Here in Oklahoma I have had the opportunity to grow and build a business from the ground up (literally) and experience the true trials and tribulations of growing in different climates and at a much larger scale. The facility now has 3 bloom rooms with 65 lights in each room and just under 200 lights total in the flower stage. We have also installed new systems for irrigation and environmental controls.

Outside of the Cannabis life I really enjoy as much time as I can outdoors. I like to hike, especially to waterfalls or hot spring destinations. I enjoy sports, with my favorite pastime being soccer but seasonally I love to spend as many days as I can Skiing or Snowboarding. I enjoy traveling, and although I have never left North America I have enjoyed many pit stops coast to coast across America. One of my favorite destinations that I have ever visited is Telluride, Colorado. The nature year round and the small mountain village atmosphere is something that I returned to through multiple seasons. Finally, I'm a big foodie. I love to try new restaurants, especially when dining experiences have been recommended to me through other friends.

I hope this gives you a little insight to who Skyler Farley is. I am very excited to be a part of Flathead Farm and develop a brand that is the fruition of all my cannabis journeys thus far. I look forward to growing high quality medical flowers that only get better with every harvest.

Hi my name is Donna. I was born and raised in Northern California. I am a third generation cultivator and cannaseur. I have been immersed in cannabis culture my entire life and it is an absolute passion of mine. I am the youngest of 7 siblings and 3 of us as well as my parents and grandmother still operate a strong family farm to this day. After having the pleasure of being part of multiple different Cannabis Markets across America; California, Oregon, Washington, Utah and Oklahoma. I have been blessed to experience all aspects of this industry. I have touched down in Skiatook, Oklahoma with my honey Skyler where we can share our love for Cannabis, produce premium medicine for our patients, and further the Education of Cannabis to help those better understand the medicinal benefits of this miracle plant.

When I am not in the dispensary, I do my best to live my life to the fullest without any regrets. I have a few main hobbies. The first one consists of being outdoors. I enjoy adventuring with my dogs in nature and relaxing outside. I love to lay out on the deck with my animals and enjoy the peaceful sounds in nature of the living organisms around me and hearing the creek running through the back yard. Music plays a large part in my life. Influenced by my parents' cultural get togethers where live music plays the most important factor. We sing together and connect with those around us. This developed my love for music. To be able to sing and play songs with amazing, like minded people along the way. Flowers are another thing I am passionate about. Just like cannabis, I have seen all sides of this industry. From growing, to processing, to sale, then to design. Being in this environment I received daily knowledge of the genus and cultivars in the world I still carry with me today and use it everyday when growing any type species and when it comes to designing a floral vase.

All of these elements give you a glimpse of who I am and where I come from. It is a pleasure to work with a company who has grown so strong in the time.
